I started my career in the insurance industry having studied and graduated with an occupational degree for the field of insurance and liability coverage.
In 1996, I chose to take an adventure and travel to California to play football. I decided to go to Santa Barbara City College and play there. During my year abroad, I fell in love with aspects of the culture in California, and took those memories home with me as I continued to pursue football for many years.
Upon my arrival back into the European culture, I became involved with the automotive industry. In Austria, I was fortunate enough to work for some very well known global brands and learn from the best minds in Europe. Being mentored by these professionals at a young age was priceless for my development into management.
In 2005, I became friends with a woman who was from Santa Barbara, and we communicated for the next two years back and forth between time zones before we decided we should meet.
